Thirteen days, three data events, one PASS Summit, and a bus between Portland and Seattle. I fly out of Indy on the 4th with a Las Vegas connection and fly home from Seattle on the 16th. No bike on this one. The V-Rod stays in the garage and I rent a car for the last leg.

✈ Out of IND at 11:20 AM, change planes in Las Vegas, land at PDX at 4:45 PM Pacific. That's 8h25m with the three-hour time change. Window seats both legs (22F, 19F) so I can see north on the way out.

🍽 Open for dinner in Portland or Vancouver. [TBD: dinner plans]

🚗 Then across the Columbia to Vancouver, WA. SELECT * FROM adventure WHERE city = 'Vancouver' AND state = 'WA'.

Goonies never say die. DBAs say SET XACT_ABORT ON.

Vancouver, WA · Oregon coast

🚗 Up early for the 110 miles to Astoria, a bit under two hours on US-30.

🛒 Oregon Film Museum, in the old Clatsop County Jail from the opening of the movie. Open 10 AM to 4 PM.

🛒 Lower Columbia Bowl on Marine Drive. Too early for pizza, so no Truffle Shuffle needed.

🛒 Break Point: Ecola State Park, just north of Cannon Beach, for the coastline from the end of the film.

🍽 Lunch at Mo's Seafood & Chowder in Cannon Beach. Open 11 AM to 9 PM daily.

🛒 Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock. Don't forget to pack the doubloon.

🍽 Back to Vancouver for dinner with Jason & Sheila Romans at a tiki bar.
